The Elizabeth Forward Alumni and Friends Association Educator Recognition Award
We all have been affected in some way by one or more of the many administrators, guidance counselors, nurses and teachers with whom we have come in contact with during our school experience at Elizabeth Forward.
The Elizabeth Forward Alumni and Friends Association Educator Recognition Award was established in 2001 to recognize these dedicated individuals for their contributions to the Elizabeth Forward schools and its students. Each year, two educators are selected to receive this honor.
Nominations for the Educator Recognition Awards are independently reviewed by the association’s Educator Recognition Award Committee. EFAFA guidelines stipulate that a nominee must be a current or former professional staff member of EFSD. A nominee does not have to be a graduate of EFHS. Each nominee is considered on the basis of his/her contributions to the Elizabeth Forward schools and its students. Nominations are accepted on an ongoing basis, meaning nominees not selected for the current year will be considered in future years.
